External contacts and birthdays
3 minAdd grandparents, friends and others outside the household – with avatars and birthdays that appear automatically in the calendar.
Add an external contact
Go to Family and choose External contacts. Tap Add and fill in name and relationship – for example Grandma, Uncle or Neighbour.
Give the contact an avatar
Upload a photo or pick an illustration. The avatar makes it easy for the kids to recognise who has a birthday or is coming to visit.
Register the birthday
Fill in the date of birth. Hemvik automatically creates a yearly birthday event in the calendar – you don’t have to add it yourself.
See birthdays in the calendar
Birthdays show up as their own events with the contact’s avatar. Use them to plan celebrations and remember to call.
Edit or remove contacts
Tap the contact to update the photo, date or relationship. If you remove the contact, the automatic birthday events disappear too.
