Create the family and invite members

4 minThe family is the heart of Hemvik. Here is how to set it up and invite everyone who should join.

Choose a family name and place
Under Family in settings, choose a name and home address. The address controls weather, travel times and maps on the screens.

Add family members
Tap Add member and fill in name, role (parent or child) and colour. The colour is used in the calendar and for chores.

Invite parents and older children
Members with their own email get an invitation and can sign in themselves. Children without email are managed by the parents and need no login.

Adjust who is at home
Set recurring routines for who is home and away. Hemvik uses this to show the right information at the right time.
