Turn on push notifications per device
Go to Settings → Notifications. Here you see all devices linked to your account. Turn notifications on or off per device – for example on the phone, but not on the tablet.
Grant permission in the browser or system
The first time you turn on notifications, the device asks for permission. Permission must be granted per device and per browser – enable it in the system settings if you previously declined it.
Send a test notification
Tap Send test notification to check that everything works. The notification should appear on the device within a few seconds.
On iOS: install the app first
Apple requires web apps to be installed on the home screen to send push notifications. Open Hemvik in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen before turning on notifications.
