SMS reminders and messages

3 minSend SMS reminders about events and shopping lists straight to family members’ phones.

Enable SMS in settings
Go to Settings → Notifications and turn on SMS messages. Only an administrator in the family can enable SMS, and it requires an active subscription that includes SMS.

Add phone numbers to members
Every family member who should receive SMS needs a registered phone number. This is added on the member’s profile under Family.

Turn on SMS reminders for events
In the calendar settings you can choose for members to get an SMS before important events – for example 30 minutes before appointments.

Send the shopping list by SMS
From the shopping list you can send it as an SMS to a member who is at the store – so the list is always available, even without the app.
